Supporting Women in Political Science

Supporting Women in Political Science (SWIPS) is a non-partisan professional education and development organization centered around aiding political science/public administration majors or adjacent students in exploring all facets of political science so they may discover their professional and academic interests. The organization was established at Texas State University in 2017. This semester it is focused on providing female guest speakers from TXST faculty and San Marcos local government with the platform to share their background and experience in the political science field. We welcome any interested Texas State students to join us for our virtual meetings every other Tuesday at 6:30PM.
