Civic Engagement Events

University-wide Events

Welcoming students and the public, many events are held throughout the school year, such as guest lectures, concerts, and conferences. The department's event series Discourse in Democracy regularly collaborates with other academic departments or the university's Common Experience to bring world-renowned speakers to campus. Special events have included:

The Lunch & Learn series invites scholars and professionals to discuss public administration in practice with Texas State students and faculty.
