Public Matters

Public Matters is the Master of Public Administration (MPA) program’s magazine. Published annually in January, Public Matters highlights not only the program's achievements, events, and faculty research throughout the previous year, but also shines a light on our MPA alumni and their work within the field of public administration.

After careful deliberation, we are excited to name our magazine Public Matters as suggested by one of our very own MPA students. Her rationale was that “it highlights the fact that the magazine covers matters / issues of interest to students, faculty, and alumni involved in public service. The title also alludes to the core value of public servants that the needs of people (the public) matter”. In addition to these reasons, our annual magazine is one of our primary ways of making matters related to the program publicly available.
