Faculty members taking part in the exam committee will evaluate the comprehensive exam essays and determine if the student demonstrates knowledge at the level appropriate for a master’s degree holder. While feedback about areas of improvement will be provided, the evaluation of an essay is final and cannot be discussed or appealed.

I understand that the evaluation of my comprehensive exam for completing my Master of Public Administration is final and that I have no option to appeal the evaluation or to discuss the results with any member of the Department of Political Science.
